Sandhurst Wheel of Prayer Day 2021

Faith CircleSome Parishes are finding new ways, or rediscovering ‘old’ ways, to ‘stay connected’ in difficult times! Wheel of Prayer Day workshops will each offer an introduction and a ‘taster’ experience of small groups bringing parishioners together to share life, faith and prayer, online or face to face as circumstances allow.

Sandhurst’s new Director of Mission and Pastoral Life, Dr Chris Cotter, will lead us as we begin our day. Four 45-minute workshops will be followed by 15 minutes for questions, discussion and breaks. Our symbol is a wheel. The spokes represent varied prayer forms from our rich Christian traditions. Every form of prayer leads towards stillness, quiet and deep listening to God at the centre.

The Workshops in the Wheel of Prayer Day showcase some of the fruitful initiatives people in our parishes have undertaken to help us to stay connected with each other and our community by sharing faith life and prayer in small (online) groups. It’s surprising how simple set-ups can have such a profound impact.
