First Stage of Genazzano
Development Unveiled
S
tage One of the Sandhurst Crest development was placed on the market in late October, with
Tweed Sutherland Real Estate exclusively handling sales enquiries.
Sandhurst Crest is the development of diocesan-owned land adjacent to the Bishop’s residence
in Golden Square, Bendigo. Stage One offers 29 excellent lots ranging from 475 square metres
to 787 square metres, with the masterplan incorporating beautiful tree-lined streetscapes as
part of the development. Pricing ranges from $149,900 to $187,000 for larger blocks.
Located in Golden Square, Sandhurst Crest is centrally connected to a number of schools,
shops, sporting facilities and public transport. The development provides a unique opportunity
to build in a location close to the Bendigo CBD and within minutes of the Calder Highway.
Unlike many other residential developments, Sandhurst Crest is uniquely bordered by over
seven hectares of protected native Box Ironbark reserve, which will remain a sanctuary for
native flora and fauna. The development has also been enhanced by a carefully designed
landscape plan utilising only indigenous trees, shrubs and grasses.
Sandhurst Diocese Business Manager Cameron Fraser said “The Church is pleased to be able to
provide purchasers an opportunity to create a new residential community, whilst incorporating
the existing beautiful natural aspects of the site.”
