LEADERSHIP & STRUCTURE
Among Sr Geraldine’s many gifts is an exceptional singing voice which brings great joy
whenever she performs. Having sung in choirs since she was a child, Sr Geraldine is a
trained opera singer who has performed with the Victorian State Opera amongst many
other celebrated vocal groups. She is also an experienced cantor and choral singer.
Most recently, Geraldine has held a key leadership role at Australian Catholic University
(ACU) in Melbourne as Deputy Head and senior lecturer, a role that has honed her vast and
varied skills as an educator, administrator and leader.
There is no doubt that Catholic Education Sandhurst has been the better for the return of
Sr Geraldine who, it seems, is just as pleased to be back as the Diocese is to have her ‘home’.
Sr Geraldine worked closely with fellow Deputy Director, Michael Hopkinson and Director
Paul Desmond to ensure that Catholic Education Sandhurst in this region will continue to
grow in faith and academic endeavour for many years to come.
