On September 10, a spe- cial morning tea was held in Shepparton to thank her and to present her with a plaque which will be a lasting reminder of her time with St Vinnies. Lois has been a volunteer with the organisation for 19 years and, as she says herself, she has made many friends in that time. Peter Feain, president, praised Lois for the time she devoted to ‘Vinnies’ and George Heneghan, who worked on the same team with Lois for many years, spoke of her empathy with the clients and her friendly disposition. Shepparton Vincentians will miss her and wish her well for the future.
