St Peter's Preps celebrate  100 days of learning

Celebrating 100 days of Learning in Mummumburra at St Peter’s Primary School, North Bendigo

This year has certainly been a challenging adventure for the Foundation students at St Peter’s Primary school, and certainly not how the parents and students envisioned their start to school would be.

The teachers of Mummumburra couldn’t think of a better way to start off Term 4 than with a celebration in honour of the Foundation students reaching that all important milestone of 100 days of learning.

Our day began when the students arrived at school dressed as 100-year-old versions of themselves. We had an action-packed day of learning focused on all things 100! We read stories and imagined how we would spend $100. We explored the number 100 through counting, dice games and flipping coins and students channelled their inner-Picasso and created self-portraits of themselves aged 100.

There are 100 different words that we could use to describe the students' reactions to the day, but judging by the constant smiles on their faces, the word FUN sums it up in one.
