YCW In Australia Today: Webinar

What’s life really like for young people in Australia right now? Join YCW and the Australian Cardijn Institute  for a powerful night of stories, truth-telling and action.

Hear from the leaders of YCW — young workers who are turning frustration into change, tackling issues like housing, mental health, culture and belonging.
This isn’t just talk. It’s about listening, sharing, and building a movement that makes a difference.

Speakers include:

Achut Thuc, National YCW President

A passionate advocate and mental health professional of South Sudanese heritage, Achut is committed to social justice and policy reform in areas such as housing, family violence and community empowerment. She is currently pursuing postgraduate studies in psychology to deepen her impact.

Joseva Saukuru, Adelaide YCW

A youth advocate and community leader, Joseva works as a stage technician and is also an illustrator and animation graduate. He leads Solidarity Music SAction, a creative movement that fosters safe, inclusive spaces where young migrants can celebrate culture and belonging.

Thomas Magri, President of Parramatta YCW

A contractor by trade and housing advocate by mission, Thomas is transforming the Granville YCW House into affordable homes for migrants — putting justice into action and addressing Australia's housing crisis, one brick at a time.

We invite you to listen, be inspired, and share your own experiences of the YCW movement. Your presence is a valuable sign of support and belief in the future of YCW in Australia.
